Early Morning Bloom is a still-life oil painting on canvas. This was my second time using oil paint and was the point where I was figuring out how oil paint can work in ways acrylic can't. I wanted the piece to have a pop of color, but also several different textures throughout. From the brick wall to the petals I'm proud of the outcome.
